Randers EgnsTeater presents Palle Alone in the World, a puppet performance for the 6-10 year olds, based on Jens Sigsgaards classic children’s book from 1942, told here in a wonderful scenic universe.
Sometimes the world is not friendly. Then everything is irritating and stupid and unfair, right from the early morning. And it would be nice if the strict mother, the nasty dog upstairs, and the class bullies would just go away.
Just imagine if we could be all alone in the world and could decide everything for ourselves. That would be fantastic! Or would it?
We follow the boy Palle, from the time he wakes up one day to discover that he is the only person in the world, with all of the possibilities and challenges that brings. Now he can drive a fire truck, fly and airplane, eat as many delicious bakery cakes as he wants and even have the whole playground for himself. But something is missing – it is much more fun to seesaw with another person.
