Stanislava Stuchla, about the exhibit:
”Stuchla’s Beauty Cabinets was made because an interest for historic costumes and the desire to create something. I used old materials, textiles, lace, leather, ostrich feathers, hair….

I discovered the meaning of perfectly skilled work. Not only in art but in craftsmanship.

It was wonderful to be able to observe the early process of Obludarium. I was excited to produce something for the show, for example the Ape woman costume.

The time with the Obludarium show made such an impression on me, that I needed to have a continuing connection to it. With the blessing of Forman Brothers Theatre Stuchla’s Little Obludárium was created.”

Artist: Stanislava Stuchla. Besides being an artist Stanislava Stuchla is an opthamologist and has a clinic in Prague.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on Friday November 10th at 14:00.
