In this lively performance Teater Drak has visualized the story of cinematographic pioneer Georges Méliés, a remarkable story about his life at the dawn of silent movies.

The show takes the viewer on a surprising and humorous journey into an alluring world of magicians and tricks.

Georges Méliès was the first to use these tricks in film, effects which continue to surprise us today with amazing ingenuity and artistic poetry.

The show is filled with celluloid filmstrip, illusion and fantasy as the weapons that can actually defeat everything, even Death? Maybe…
