Theatre Incliné: Threads

The performance ‘Threads’ is based on “The Tale of The Mountain-Woman”, a touching and thoughtful story of women in war zones.

Jose Babin from Theatre Incline says: “The Inhumanity. What Words can no longer express. Eyes, way beyond tears. In our wars nothing is sacred. There are no longer any rules. The human race is surely the only one that destroys the womb from which it is born with such impunity.”

How timely in our world today, and possibly in all worlds and in all places. The story and performance are based on histories of immigrant women from many countries. The production is a strong, beautiful, touching and thought provoking visual theatre performance with puppets, objects and gripping acting, accompanied by live violin music.

Director: José Babin. Playwright: Francine Alepin. Scenography: Guy Fortin. Puppets and costumes: Leigh Gillam. Composer: Guido Del Fabbro. Actors: Nadine Walsh, José Babin and Guido Del Fabbro.
