Danish Premiere
“Aladdin” invites you into the tales of ‘A Thousand and One Nights’ with the colorful story of the boy Aladdin, King Šahriar and the brave and wise Scheherazade. You will be escorted through an exotic world of nomads, mystical sites, gardens and palaces to a place where powerful leaders rule.

Thanks to a magical lamp, the poor teen-age boy Aladdin manages to acquire a miraculous kingdom. With the help of a genie who fulfills all of his wishes, Aladdin becomes the owner of a great palace and meets his new love, the Princess Badralbudur.

Matej Forman and his artistic team have created a magical show, helped along with puppets, shadow theatre, fantastic sets and music, which opens the port to a grand palace under a sky full of stars.

This family performance takes both children and adults to the line between fantasy and reality. The Danish actor Claus Mandøe is the narrator in the performance.
